Other Star Wars titles are on sale through Xbox Live marketplace for the Star Wars Day weekend include Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens for $10 (Deluxe Edition for $15) 2017’s Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for $7.50 (a savings of $17.49) the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Battlefront (2015) for $5 ($14.99 off) and the Hoth Bundle for that game for $9.90 (a $20.09 savings). Battlefront 2 is on the PlayStation Store - but only as a PlayStation Vita/PSP title - along with the lesser known Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron for PSP from 2009. Star Wars Battlefront came to the Xbox Marketplace in April 2018 (and is $5.99), and Pandemic’s 2005 follow-up Battlefront 2 came to Xbox Live Games With Gold back in April. But, as noted earlier by Eurogamer, a Steam user has supplied this guide for getting into a community server for the Steam version. When GameSpy went kaput in 2014, it took down official multiplayer support for the original Battlefront with it. This is the first time the first game in the series has been available to PC players in an online marketplace, which is a big deal as the physical edition’s multiplayer required either a LAN or a direct IP network connection. Pandemic Studios’ classic shooter is $8.49 at both marketplaces. The original Star Wars Battlefront from 2004 is now available on both Steam and GOG.com as part of a Star Wars Day (May the Fourth) promotion with LucasArts.
